Innovate with diverse stakeholders

Vision, stakeholder engagement and consultation bodies

How can you implement an impact governance initiative to serve your purpose and sustainability objectives?

Impact governance fosters the creation of a robust corporate culture serving your purpose and your ambition for sustainability. The transformations of today's world encourage us to think outside the box to find new forms of inspiration to encourage innovation.

Corporate ReGeneration offers a practical pathway for you to explore innovative and effective forms of engagement to help your business make an impact. By working with senior management and inviting diverse stakeholders, we will help you breathe new life into your corporate strategy.

Stakeholders Assembly

Organise a general meeting with your stakeholders (suppliers, customers, regions, etc.) as well as with surprising parties (nature, future generations, artists, etc.), to inspire your company's strategy and promote the universal values of social participation.

A general meeting of stakeholders allows the company to bring together, in addition to its traditional stakeholders, ‘surprising’ parties such as representatives of nature, future generations or social justice. This approach makes it possible to challenge the subjects on the agenda of the ordinary or extraordinary general meeting. For example, the company can solicit critical opinions and recommendations to strengthen the ambitions of a CSR roadmap, by integrating innovative and cross-functional perspectives.

Regeneration Board

Set up an Advisory Board made up of guardians (internal players and stakeholders, key external experts) who represent and ensure the integration of the various ESG dimensions in their perspective of the priority issues submitted to them by your company.

Setting up a regeneration committee enables company directors to create a space dedicated to analysing strategic and operational issues from the perspective of the 3Ps: People, Planet & Prosperity. These committees, which meet for 4 or 5 half-days a year, bring together external experts on a parity basis with company representatives. Together, they bring an enriched perspective, integrating planetary limits, social justice, the principles of regeneration and the interests of future generations, to inform the decisions taken on the subjects on the agenda.

Case Study

Since 2023, we have been supporting a leading private broadcast media company, a subsidiary of a multinational corporation and a domestic market leader, in establishing an ambitious impact governance scheme. The CEO and CSR manager aimed to create a high-level sounding board with representative stakeholders who are well-versed in business and ESG sector issues. This initiative sought to challenge the CSR roadmap, empower CSR advocacy at the Board level and within internal teams, and inspire new impactful actions.

The implementation of this scheme has yielded significant results. The ReGeneration board has facilitated bold and courageous decisions addressing problematic business impacts and provided invaluable help in resolving ethical dilemmas related to the business model. More than 15 decisions were taken or directions given by the Committee, establishing an embedded governance body that gives a voice to nature and future generations. Additionally, their impact has gradually shifted from being a cost centre to a revenue centre, enhancing its societal implications. The initiative has also resulted in effective and inspiring reviews of the company's impact report and key performance indicators.
